BananaSplitter is cool software to split AVI files (compressed in divx or xvid). Is very simply to use and is free. This software can split in into 2 segments, bypassing codecs or any external libraries. JVM is required. It is an OS independent so can be execute in Linux, Mac OSX, Windows Vista and XP.
