Recently YouTube is testing in beta version a new player for the video web site. Here are some Screen shot how the new player looks like. You can see live also from youtube.com website following this video link:
Following with the applications done with Adobe AIR, AirTube is small “widget” that allows to directly download videos from the youtube site, writing the URL of the ID clip; once we have done this, a progress bar will show to us what percentage of the video we have unloaded, as well as the remaining percentage. It runs as much in Windows as in Linux and Mac so it is not necessary to worry much about the compatibility.
