Microsoft released a free desktop application that simplifies the process of publishing content to your weblog. Whether you are using WordPress, Moveable Type or even blog hosters, you can prepare, preview and publish your content with Windows Live Writer without using your weblog-engine. Features: WYSIWIG-Editor, powerful editing features and offline editing. Beta, for Windows XP with Service Pack 2 or Windows Vista. Various plugins can extend the functionality of the tool.
